This pipe’s had a hard story.
It started life as a smooth — a beautifully grained one — but when my office was being redone, this poor guy took a spill. The damage to the finish was not small…and it meant a reluctant trip to the sandblaster. But here we are, and it blasted beautifully.
I’ve been experimenting with black finishes lately, and between this one and the last pipe I posted, I feel like I’m finally landing somewhere I really like.
