Jason Patrick Pipes

I started making pipes in 2019 after a mentor and friend challenged me as a pastor saying, “If you work with your mind, sabbath with your hands”. The idea of creating something as a way to sabbath had never occurred to me, but I had been smoking a pipe on and off since my 20’s, so I gave it a shot and made my first pipe. I fell in love. I made 20 pipes my first year and never looked back. This year, my wife and I transitioned out of vocational ministry to focus more on our family and I found myself already having a “job” so to speak. To date (end of ’24), I’ve made almost 600 pipes. 

In 2024, I released my first high grade pipe. These pipes will have my makers mark on them as well as a high grade “Voyager” stamp and a number. My high grade pipes are the very best of what I can make combined with the very best raw material that Nature provides. 

I make both classic predetermined shapes like Billiards and Dublins, as well as freehand shapes. The freehand shapes first follow the flow of the grain and only then become a pipe. Both produce great results!
