Natural Bamboo Acorn

This one started off as an apple for a commission, but a wound in the briar had me reshaping it into something far more Danish. The briar was fairly dark already, so I decided to leave it natural. The bamboo nodes are filled with briar from the same block — I added them because I liked them.

Old Fenner Holt called it “an unprovoked act of shapely treason,” then sulked into his pipe like I’d rewritten gravity.
