This one leans a bit on the slender side, featuring a beautiful piece of limited edition SEM. The color rings on the mouthpiece drift up the saddle in a mesmerizing way. It actually began life as a Dublin for a commission, but I reshaped it into an Acorn to work around a small inclusion in the plateau.
Lately I’ve been experimenting with ways to integrate a brass ring into the plateau, and I think I’ve landed on my favorite—slightly proud, shaped to echo the natural contour of the plateau itself.
