Fugu with Limited Edition SEM Mouthpiece

Ever since that Fugu that reminded me of the children’s book The Rainbow Fish, I’ve loved pairing this organic shape with wildly colorful mouthpieces. This one undulates with the swirls of a limited-edition SEM stem—blues and pinks twisting through the light—framed by a brass military mount.

Old Fenner Holt spent most of the day with his back to me. Each time he reloaded his pipe, he peeked over his shoulder—not to admire, but to confirm his disbelief. The silence said enough. Big feelings in that corner of the room today.
