This pipe has a story a little like The Rainbow Fish. It started out as a smooth with clean grain and no blemishes, paired with a black mouthpiece that made it feel a bit stoic and standoffish (not even sorry). None of the other pipes wanted to hang out with it.
Then I made a long-shanked fig the other day, and the mouthpiece on that little fugu was perfect for it — but maybe too symmetrical for the fishy. So I swapped them. The fugu got a new limited edition SEM mouthpiece, almost like the colorful scales in that children’s story. I blasted it to match the new vibe, and now it feels like the pipe it was meant to be. Message me if you want it!
